We now have AIG insurance through the company that my husband works for. I am afraid that it is going to be just like Aflac!

We had purchased Aflac about a year ago. I went to the dr and had planned to use it only to find out that it was a SECONDARY isurance. This was not mentioned when we made the purchase! I immediately cancelled the policy.

Now, I am wondering if AIG is actually insurance or another discount program. I only have a few more days to cancel the policy so I really would like to get some feedback if anyone knows anything about this insurance. - My rep just sent me the info a few days ago, it was predated and I only had 20 days to look over the policy and cancel it if that was our plans. - - I am thinking CANCEL anyway but want to know what others have experienced with it.

Please help me with this as soon as possible!

They write two kinds of health insurance - or did, the last time I ran into them - supplemental AND full coverage.

Your policy should outline what they cover and don't cover.

I run into their auto insurance frequently and have never seen a problem - but that doesn't say anything about their health insurance, of course.

I guess I need to look deeper into the policy - Thank you!

I just don't want to pay out the amount that we are only to discover, after its too late, that it is a discount program!

I hate being deceived like that!
