Last night was the first night of barney in the house (after being in the hospital for 4 days), during the night he kept having diahrrea and vomiting(after drinking water and pediliate), his poop was brown like chocolate, we don't know if it was from the pediliate that is a grape flavor and obviously dark or it was just blood?
He is still very week and does not want to eat, he has no energy!
I just gave him the medicine that they prescribed for him(amoxilin), last night I thought he was going to die :( , at this point is he recovering from the virus or is he still fighting it?
Also last night he kept snifling a lot,he was having trouble breathing, what does that mean?
I am very frustrated!

Please call your Vet. These could be "normal" symptoms, or reactions from the medications, or something else.
Your Vet will know the answer... please call them today.

Erik, my pup had parvo two years ago. The symptoms you describe were the same ones my pup had. She came through with flying colors. It will take plenty of time for your pup to get back to normal. Give him time, but don't forget that right now your vet is your best friend. He should have no problem with you calling and asking questions.
