Observe the operating sequence from start-up with the front access panel removed. Use your eyes and ears-listen for clicks. Hissing sounds (may be faint). Post back with observations after about five minutes.

If you don't see a glow from the burner area prior to the click, you likely have a failed hot surface ignitor.

I have the same problem, I think, as this. If I leave the unit off for an extended period (say overnight), everything will work fine for a while. Once the room drops below the target temperature and needs to go through another heating cycle, everything seems to work well for a few minutes and then the burners go out and won't re-light. The ignitor lights, the unit clicks, but no flame comes from the gas orfices. I'm not getting any flashing codes from the panel light.

I replaced the flame sensor, but that didn't fix the problem. Like a lot of people, I'm having a tough time right now, and if I can solve this on my own, I want to do that. I'll understand if it's a job for the experts. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

If the furnace malfunctions, the self-diagnostics should produce an LED fault code. Perhaps the unit is okay but the thermostat is causing short-cycling. Try this: turn off power to unit, remove "R" and "W" wires from thermostat and connect them together, turn power on and run unit, see if problem repeats. You may have to try cycling unit on/off a few times to test full operating sequence. If problem goes into hiding, start looking closer at the thermostat.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

After observing the unit closer (I had to run it with the bottom cover off), I did get a one flash diagnostic (system lockout due to retry). I did a cleaning on the "to" and "from" of the pressure sensor and that seems to have solved things for now.

Thank you again, and as soon as I have the money I'll have a qualified professional come in to do the regular service on it.
