What else besides stress could cause a negative. Pregnancy test and a late period?
I have been trying to get pregnant..
My period is almost 3 weeks late
    The home tests are negative.
I am NOT stressed more then usual.

What else could cause me to miss my November period altogether and be almost 3 weeks late?

    SO:

    *No, I am not sick.
-Everything is perfectly normal as it usually is.
*I'm not exercising more then usual.
*I haven't gained or lost a bunch of weight.
    -NOTHING has changed about me.
*I am not and never was on birth control, as I said, I am TRYING to get pregnant.
    *Not on any other medications.
    -EVERYTHING is the same.

    Again:
I am not stressed. Haven't changed weight, diet, exercise, nutrition, nothing.

I am as I was in October and September etc..

    So I don't understand it.

    PLEASE READ THE WHOLE QUESTION

    Thanks

You could be pregnant even though hpt's are supposed to be very accurate sometimes a wmoans body just doesn't give off enough of the hormone only a month pregnant in fact some woman don't find out they are pregnant until nine to twelve weeks along just because of how your body creates the hormones. With everything that you said it doesn't sound like there is any other reason to not have a period so I would go to your OB/GYN and have him take a blood test they are the most accurate other then an ultrasound. Hope this helps!

Sometimes it is a case of just a slight hormone fluctuation that can cause a skipped period. No reason may be determined and often it is not a concern.

As lexilou said, sometimes the urine tests don't pick up a pregnancy for several weeks on some women. You could just wait and see what happens when your next period is due. If still a no show, try another test or see your doctor who will do one in the office.
