I have a 34 year old ge weathertron thermostat that I cannot see how to get off the wall.
There are no screws securing it. I have tried sliding up & down & side to side to no avail. What is the secret?

Unless someone glued it to the wall there has to be screws. Usually on some of them the top piece lifts off the subbase and the subbase is screwed to the wall.
