    F-1 Visa & Buying a House
My girlfriend (British citizen) has just received her F1 visa for graduate study starting this August. We are considering buying a house together in the area where she will go to school (I work in the area). She wouldn't be on the mortgage, but would be on the deed (she would essentially be providing the down payment with her funds). Would this endanger her visa in any way? We are not engaged and plan on leaving the States when she finishes her degree.

NOT AT ALL! Every person legally in the US has the right to do what their money legally can buy. The inmigration Law does not have anything to do with that. The matter is only in the hands of the lender who may or may not lend you the money because of her inmigration status.
