    What is he thinking?
This guy I like just confuses me (not on purpose I hope) and I'm kind of hoping for a second opinion. We only met about 2-3 months ago because he's an exchange student, and at first we didn't talk (but I thought he was sooo hot... :)) Once we started to talk, we really clicked, and he asked me out once, but ended up joining me on a group plan I'd already made. Now we hang out some, but we don't really share friend circles so it's kind of hard to have time. We pretty much only talk to each other when we are together (& in classes/hallways). The thing is, he's a really huggy guy (not just with me) & very friendly, he sometimes puts his arm around me around other people & I kind of melt a little, but I can't really count it because he's a hugger!

Anyway... he once told me he didn't make a move on a girl we both know because he's leaving. I don't know if he's warning me, or regretting her... He also labels pictures of me for his friends back home "one of my best American friends" & said online that we were close because we understand each other so well. He says things like "If I don't see you this weekend I'll miss you" & always tells me to visit him in his own country. I don't know if he likes me, or if we're just best friends. I'm kind of good with either, I just want to know. 2 of my guy friends think he likes me. Ummm... what do you think?

Its hard to know because he's from a different country, with a different culture. Its possible that he's just appreciating your friendship and a really huggy person as you say :)

If you feel strongly enough about it, don't let him go without telling him how you feel about him, if English isn't his first langauge make sure you keep it simple and just throw it out there... at the end of day if you tell him and he doesn't feel the same, they OK, you'll probably never see him again... but if he likes you also then there's a chance...

But consider what you're getting into, long distance relationships etc, especially if you're both young, travelling on your own isn't practical

You have lots to think about.

When is he leaving? And what country is he from?
