    How can I connect pvc to galvanize piping in my bathroom wall what fitting can I use to make that connection?

    Hi Cedric:

    If the galvanized pipe is threaded then, of course, you can use threaded PVC fittings.

    If no threads then you will need a plastic to plastic mission clamp... also called a shielded clamp... see picture below.

    PVC pipe and galvanized pipes are almost identical sizes so you just need to get an 1.5" or a 2" plastic to plastic shielded clamp.

    Do not use the all rubber fernco clamps with 2 SS bands... these are not allowed for above ground work.
