I recently acquired a Toshiba D-VR600 DVD/VCR recorder, but don't have an owners manual for it. My question is how do I go about finalizing a DVD recording I make from the TV, so it will play on other DVD players? Step by step instructions would be most helpful and greatly appreciated. I tried to find an owners manual online, but to no avail.

Mine is an inexpensive Magnavox. I go to "setup" , then "recordings", then "finalize".
But mine doesn't give those options with all types of discs. DVD-RW yes. DVD+RW no.
But yours may be different in all regards.

Go to Toshiba's web site you should be able to dowload a manual
