It probably isn't. If you have a 6 months lease, they generally can't evict unless you break the lease. However, one reason could be if the landlord needs the unit for himself or his family. So if he is having family problems and wants to move into the place, then he might be within his rights.
It can depend on the actual terms of the written lease. So they need to read it. Normally no they can not just evict for no reason, it has to be a reason listed in the lease.
