I have replaced the flapper, value seat assembly and related gaskets and I still have a slow leak in the toilet. You can see water running down the side of the bowl.

This all started when I realize I had a leak running down the outside of the back of the toilet to the floor. I replaced the gasket between the bowl and the tank. That seemed to stop the leak on the outside.

Any suggestions on stopping the current leak. It seems like I have replaced all the possible faulty parts already.

If you have replaced all the parts and water is not overflowing the overflow tube and it is leaking to inside the bowl then I'm going to bet at this time that the new flapper is making a poor seal with the new flush valve (see right pic. Below).

You did replace the flush valve assembly...yes? If not, then that would probably be the next step to take. If you did replace the flush valve then it is most likely that the new flapper is not seating well with the new flush valve. Here, give it 24 hours and if seal doesn't improve then go purchase a new flapper.

Yes, I replaced the flush valve assembly, tried three different flappers and even used some aquarium sealant around the base of the flush valve assembly last night. Still leaks.

When you empty the tank and open the flapper, you can see water dripping down. It almost looks like it is coming from the other side of the flush valve assembly. I am at my wit's end!!

Was your flush valve much like the one in my picture?

I don't know if most plumbers do this, but I use a thread sealent on the threads of my flush valve before installing it. Here, I use the thread sealer around the top 1/3 threads and then I install the rubber. Then I wipe excess thread sealer from the rubber seal and then I add more thread sealant to the remaining threads.

I've never had a leak doing it this way.

Otherwise, I'm thinking that it is possible that there is a crack in the new flush valve assembly?
