    Replacing a toilet flange
    Please help! This is my first time. When I connect the toilet flange to the sewer pipe do I use any sealant such as silicon to secure it? If so, should I allow it to sit for a while before reinstalling toilet...

    First, tell us what kind of pipes you have: PVC, ABS, Cast Iron, Lead... etc.

    Thank you for answering back.I'm sorry that I took so long to respond.but the toilet flange is pvc.I think that I found my answer though.by trial and error.thank you again
