I have my father in law's old drill press and band (or jig) saw, both probably from the 1950's or 60's. Both are housed in their original stands - can anyone give me a ball park figure of what they might be worth. I believe one or both are Craftsman.

I also have an old Mark series (1950's) Mercury outboard motor, not complete but for a collector or someone who has interest, this might be saleable. Ideas?

It really depends on tool condition, how/where they are sold, and having the right audience at the sale. I've paid $90 for a Craftsman 12" bandsaw at auction. My personal guideline on used equipment is max 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of what similar new equipment would cost. I buy for use or resale and not "antique"-ness.

You might find an outborad motor collector on E-bay or Craig's list but I'm with Scleros on the saws. Not old enough to be ntiques and young enough that a starter DIY person may want o buy to get a shop started.

Cannot tell you the values. Not much I would think. The outboard should have parts available for the engine internally as any Lawn-boy mechanic would recognize the pistons, etc.
