I want to have a child, but how can I?

How do I become pregnant, please help me. I did what I should do. I'm a coffee addict but I only have one coffee in the morning. I smoke Menthol.. but not too much. I drink beer when I always drink Jim beam. I don't drink a lot, only a little. I haven't eaten junk food lately... who knows how to become pregnant?

Well ELIMINATING all unhealthy things is the first step. It's far better to stop doing these beforehand, and being prepared. Than to find out you are pregnant and quit everything cold turkey.

Have you been to the doctor to ask advice on how its best for YOU to conceive?

First of all jojo, the coffee is the least of your concerns right now. You need to stop drinking beer, whiskey, whatever. You also need to stop smoking. Begin taking prenatal vitamins now.

Now, we have advised you several times for you and your partner to visit a doctor. Have you yet?

Too scared to see a doctor? When you get pregnant you will see one once a month for 7 months, then twice a month for one month, and then once a week for a month. Then you will be in the hospital to deliver your baby. Better get used to doctors. LOL

You aren't too young to have a baby, if you were 17 I would say you are too young. But you aren't.

Prenatals provide folic acid. This helps to eliminate neural tube defects in a fetus that happen typically before a woman even knows she is pregnant. These neural tube defects are spina bifida to name one, and it is irreversible.

Until you and your significant other visit a doctor for a preconception workup there is little else we can do for you aside from the advice we have already given you.

You can follow the instractions the others gave you. You can get the prenatal vitamins with a prescription from your doctor.

Prenatals can even be purchased over-the-counter at places like Wal-Mart, they aren't strictly prescription any longer.

Now, they won't help you get pregnant, but make your body more healthy when you do become pregnant. It is preferred that all women of child bearing age take folic acid, folic acid is contained in prenatal vitamins.

A doctor can do a pelvic exam to see if everything looks & feels OK. That's step 1.
Step 2 Learn your ovulation cycle. Approximately 12-16 days before your next period is when you ovulate. If your'e observant, you will notice a slightly thicker mucous from your vagina when you go to the bathroom. It will seem "slippery". That's when the ovary release the egg so it can be fertilized.
Step 3. Make sure it gets fertilized, if you know what I mean.Keep trying.

I feel slippery when I wipe... I was 2 weeks late when I see a lot of bleeding, I felt pain when I woke up... that was 2 days ago... what does that mean?

It's time to get to the doctor. You should be seeing your doctor at least once a year

Being two weeks late then having heavy bleeding may have indicated an early miscarriage or other problem.
A human female ovulates midway between cycles. I'm only estimating, because women can be defferent. Two weeks before your next period is the targeted ovulation time, but there needs to be an approximate "window" on either side of this target date to account for differences.
A pregnancy test can be accurate even as early as one week after a missed period, so you should find out if a miscrriage happened or not. If so, you need to be checked again. Maybe you just had a change in your menstruation cycle, which sometimes happens.
This "thicker mucus" in a woman's vagina is produced during ovulation to help facilitate the sperm in getting to the ovum. Your body temperature will also slightly increase, so some women keep charts of their temperature.

If its miscarriage how can I know? Do I have to go to the hospital or anything to fix up or?

    Spit Happens

At conception, the "embryo" sends a biochemical message to the mothers brain, basically with the message to not release any more eggs. This chemical is the pregnancy hormone. It increases as the pregnancy progresses and is easily detected in the blood and urine.. Most tests can be accurate as early as one week after a missed period.
If a miscarriage occurs, there will still be this hormone in the mother's body, but it will decrese as her body "heals" from the miscarriage.

A test might still be able to detect the hormone. A pelvic exam can also detect if there was a pregnancy due to the changes in the cervix and uterus. A gyn should advise you if any treatment would be needed. Infections can occur due to unexpelled parts still in the uterus.
