Can anyone let me know where I can get tutoring vidoes or any other info on stripping cocker spaniels. And also is there anyone in the N. W. who runs classes in this subject.

Tons of videos available on the Internet - Google stripping cocker spaniels or grooming dogs. All the pet shops I know also sell the videos and the books.

Also - and I'm sure you know this - if you slip up, it can be extremely painful and damaging to the dog. Are you sure you want to do this on a family pet?

Groomers often have years of experience and training.

Have you considered getting a Furminator, from what I understand it is similar tool for removing the undercoat. I have one and it is amazing!
