Ok so here is the scoop, I like this girl (call her sam), and I don't want to be a whip so I told her that I liked her. My friend went out with her like a month earlyer and dumped her after 2 days because a "popular" girl said he could do better. She has been single seince. Now he is very rude to her, and I want to be friends with both but he is making it very diffuclt. So I'm thinking the hell with it he will learn to accept it (lol:p). So I have been texting her for 1 or 2 weeks now and she has sent me like 200 texts and every morning when she gets up the first thing she does is say hi. At lunch she is always looking at me and vice versa, and we try to hang out, so I think that she likes me. I don't want to scare her away by asking her out because we haven't hanged out in person that much. Oh and when I told her that I liked her and I asked what she thought of me she danced around the subjuct, without answering the question:(

Sounds to me like she's shy. I can also tell you that I wouldn't be sending a guy texts firs thing in the morning though if I didn't like him. She's definitely thinking about you when you're not around. I don't know how old you two are but maybe you could ask her if she'd like to come with you to dinner and/or a movie. I used to be shy and when asked to hang out it was easier to say yes than being asked if I liked the guy. Good luck!

I think she likes you too. You just need to spend time with her. Like, take her to a movie or something.

And ignore your friend, who seems shallow. Anyone who dumps a girl for a popular girl ends up being dumped.

Just do what your doing. Just keep hanging out with her and keep the "i like you" vibe down just so she gets it but doesn't go over the top to scare her. She sounds like she just needs time to warm up to you and when your feeling the bond between you growing and when you feel like she likes you and your pretty sure of it, ask her out.

I agree with the first post.. she wouldn't be sending you text first thing in the morning if she didn't have a thing for you.. just give it some more time and definitely hang out more before you ask her out. Its always better to get to know the person better before asking them out. And for your friend I agree with you he can deal with it.. he went out with her for what 2 days.. thats nothing
