My daughter is 23 and her father still owes back child support paid a lawyer to go after since she was seventeen the lawyer never has done anything papers were never served but lawyer took my money tried to get lawyer to pay me back. And never did. Bottom line how do you you make daughters father pay what he owes when even the lawyer doesn't do his job, I no longer have money to get another lawyer to pursue. My daughter is 23 and struggling if I could get what is owed I could help her. I do I go about getting his taxes or something so it gets paid?

There are state agencies that will help collect support. Check with your local Family Court.

Several things.

1. Contact the attorney and ask for an accounting of the work he did.

2. Report him to the Bar association

3. Check with your Legal Aid society for free legal help
