Need some help with the language here: "Virtual PC 2004 Internet" doesn't mean much to me.
I mean I have Virtual PC 2004, and I'd shared Internet with my host PC... Now my problem is I don't know how to share the files, folder and printers from Host to my Viratual PC...
What exactly is Virtual PC 2004? What is its purpose, how are you using it? What is your network setup?
There should be a manual that came with your package, or a PDF on your CD.
Thanks for your time guys but I already solve the problem just the menu it in there well this topic is closed thankz again... yes its in the manual...
Just for your info Scott:Quote:

Very handy for web design as you can have multiple versions of IE at your fingertips for testing.
Thanks LT, Actually I was playing devil's advocate. There are a few Virtualization tools. Wasn't sure whether Avel was referring to Microsoft's or someone else's.
I was trying to get my boss to get me a copy so I didn't have to setup a separate test machine for evaluating Office 12. But they preferred to use an existing spare laptop. And since I can't find my KVM switch (got lost in a move), I now have 2 monitors, keyboards and rodents in my little cube. ;)
Scott go get VMWare as its current FREE ;)
And kicks Billy-boy's bottom royally
Nice find Ben - I'll be downloading that over the weekend.
I'm currently investigating VMWare for Disaster Recovery and testing in regards to SOX 404 compliance.
Takes a bit of playing about with but once sussed runs like a dream.
For DR? Not sure how it applies there.
SOX? I thought you weren't in the US??
DR possibly for a Hot site, maybe, don't know just playing.
This way I can reduce my 8 servers into a couple, if not 1 ;)
SOX applies to any company that is listed on the American stock exchange.
Even tho' the company I work for is based in Canada we still have to comply.
Oh it's really great fun... NOT !
Ahh! I was responsible for SOX reporting for one of the functions (lease Mgmt) performed by my department. A real PITA.Quote:
