I just bought an 8week old Lab and she has runny poop. She is very active and hungary but I am beginning to see some runny/ liquidy blood mixed in the poop. :eek:

I literally just got the puppy 3 hours ago! What should I do? The man was feeding it junk for food.

I would get him tested for parvo I really hope he doesn't have it but blood in the stool can mean many different things, please take him in diet may have a lot to do with a loose stool but I have never seen diet change cause blood. You could keep an eye on it for a day or two and scheduale her an appt for Monday and if its not better or worse get her in. Call around and find a cheap vet. Good luck!

If it is parvo then the sooner your puppy is treated the better the chance of survival. Parvo is deadly, not easy to treat, the survival rate isn't high, but there is a chance, especially with early treatment.

I wouldn't wait, get your puppy to a vet immediately to be checked out. Better safe than sorry.
