    Hi Dennis:

Code says that every home must have a kitchen sink, a toilet, a sink and a bath or shower. The toilet and the sinks must be supplied with hot and cold water. The hot water temp. in the shower should not exceed 112F in my area and the sinks should not be supplied with water that exceeds 120-125F.

The cold water for these sinks may come from the MAIN water line or from a BRANCH water line. The only requirement by code here is that the pipes must be appropriately sized to accommodate all fixtures being supplied by the branch water line. In other words, you can't pick up 6 sinks on one 1/2" copper line...it would need to be increased to a 3/4" water line and then could in fact pick up all 6 sinks.

Let me know if need more here...
