Is he interested in me or just a fling?
I met a guy through work (but I don't work with him directly.) He showed interest in me from the very and took me out to a friendly lunch. He asked all those typical first date questions. Didn't hear from him in over a week, so I email him to hang out. When he said he'd like to hang out, he also mentioned later that he had a girlfriend that he just broke up with. So anyhow, he asks me on a date. There were a string of emails that indicated a strong interest, receiving confirmation from male friends that he defintely sounds interested. We go on on our date, and it was really fun, we did a dinner and a physical activity. Although, the second time around, not so many questions about me. But anyhow, we kissed each other good night when he dropped me off. The next day, he contacts me and asks me if I'd like to come over for dinner and a movie. How should I perceive this?

He apparently wants to get to know you, he is requesting a second date.

I am not sure I understand the confusion.

If your uneasy about going to his house then don't go and express that to him. Maybe your can go to a movie instead. Is that why you feel he might want a fling?

One time I can tell you is that he might not be interested in a relationship being that he just got out of one and you don't want to be his rebound. That's doesn't mean that you can take time to get to know one another.

What does your gut feeling tell you about him?

I would hold out on him. Refuse sex for a long time. If he's really interested in you he shouldn't even care about getting in your pants.

Of course make sure he knows your still in a relationship and not just friends.

I would guess, like justwantfair said, the he's interested in getting to know you better. It sounds to me like he likes you.
