What does the Doctor say? How long has this gone on and what do you consider to be a high fever? If there is a problem and you are giving her medication to reduce the fever you could be doing her harm and masking symptoms.

You should take your daughter to the doctor because it might be an ear infection and fever is associate with this. It might be a bug but whenever a fever is present it is fighting something in our body.

Be careful with over the counter medicine because there has been a lot of recall in the last 2 years. What exactly is your child temperature and where are you taking it from, the ear, mouth, etc

Try putting a cold damp washclolth on your daughter head, that might help. Is she sweating? Let her sweat it out and if she gets chills of course put a blanket on her but you contact your doctor and they can tell you what to do. Also, make sure she is drinking plenty of fluids and try to keep her comfortable.

Again, I would advise you to take her to doctor so that she can get exam or an ER if it is very high. How long how she had a fever?
