I have changed my transmission filter and will not change gears :confused:when I tried to drive.

What exactly are you asking? Are you inquiring about the trans or about the engine?

Have you checked to see if there are any codes stored in the computer for the transmission?

AAMCO Transmissions gave me the following codes: 36, 52, 109. I am woundering if I can do the work myself.

Code 36 is EGR Pintle Position Sensor(Out of range); codes 52 & 109 are the same, PCM Keep Alive RAM Reset.

None of those codes are transmission related. What makes you think the transmission isn't shifting? The only reason I ask is that I once had someone tell me the same thing and they had a very noisy wheel bearing instead.
