    Kenmore ultrawash3 nowash new pump
Just replaced pump unit in Kenmore Ultra Wash III. It had a leak in the pump unit, ruined some floor. Was washing fine now no leak no wash seems like the motor may not be getting up to speed. Fills and pumps out fine but doesn't get enough pressure to feed top spray bar. Have disassembled it again and all o'rings are in place. Is there a problem with relay or something not letting the pump come up to speed since this is a different pump unit?

Are you sure the replacement was the same unit that was in the unit originally?
Are the hoses connected just like the old unit?
If so then it is possible you got a defective pump assembly.
A pump change out is actually a easy job and usually they go without a problem.

Thanks for responding to yesterdays new pump no wash question. The answer did not resolve my main question about this motor either being a single speed or a two speed and could the problem be electrical. The new unit came with a relay and a note that read " if you are installing this unit into a porcelain tub you must change this relay. our tub is plastic but the relay was crumbled when the box arrived". Is it possible the motor is not running up to speed?

Sorry but there was no mention of it being a single or two speed motor in your first post so I had NO idea there was a difference in units . It is possible that a speed change might solve the problem BUT you will have to referr to the wiring diagram that came with the pump. You will probably have to get the relay that you said is damaged. I would complain to the place you bought the pump from about the damage and have them replace the part. I have no wiring diagram for the new style replacement pump or relay. Sorry
