Its from trig equations
2cost - sint = -2 for 0<x<2pie
can you show me a solution cause mine doesn't work.
can we factor anything or use a trig identity for this... help me please.

One obvious solutoin is t = pi. To find the other solution, try moving the sin term to the right side of the equation, then square both sides. Then replace the cos^2(t) term with the equivalent 1-sin^2(t). You should be able to go from there.
