    Growth in anal opening
Hi, Oh my God... I really don’t know what is wrong with me these days...

I was posting my queries relating to swelling in feet all these while and all of a sudden I realize that I have something else to worry about more than the swelling.

It’s really embarrassing to discuss this... but I don't have any other option...

I’m 28, female and I have noticed a mass of tissue coming out of my anal opening. It feels like a small mass of tissue almost the size of a small mole... But if I try to feel it or pull it... unlike a mole it can be pulled easily... It feels like a thick rubber band trhead coming Out of me... This is really scaring the daylights out of me...

Could any 1 please help me understanding what it is?

J_9 and Joey G, you have helped me earlier also, could you please help me out this time too..?

    Thanks,
    Kris

It sounds like a hemorrhoid but to be on the safe side I would consult a doctor. If it is at all itchy that is a good indication that it is a hemorrhoid and often time you may see a tinge of blood.
Best to err on the side of caution and not try to self diagnose but see a doc!

Is there any itching or burning associated with this?

To me it also sounds like hemorrhoids.

I discovered it while wiping myself. Otherwise there is no discomfort , pain or itching.

What tests should I undergo inorder to find out what it is ? Secondly, what kind of doctors treat this, I mean should I go to a gyne or a urologist.

    Thanks,
    Kris

Sounds like a hemorrhoid to me. Tucks pads, Preparation H, or Anusol can reduce the swelling along with something as simple as Witch Hazel.
