My period is starting today and I am going on a trip in 4 days and afraid it won't be done. Can I stop it or take something to slow it down?

In four days, I'm sure it will be slowing down by then. I know every woman is different but my bets are it will be very light to minimal. However, there is nothing to really stop or slow down your period; if you were on birth control you could start the 'active' pills - but I would not advise it. Periods are a natural thing and disrupting them could be harmful to your body.
