    How do I change the drive belt on my dyson?

    Belt replacement hard or impossible - Its supposedly a lifetime belt that is entirely enclosed in plastic to protect it from tangles and dirt causing friction. I have never changed one but I am sure it is a pain.

    BTW you have to replace the entire belt cartridge and they run about 70.00 for the part only.

    What you need is a clutch assembly. It is a moderate task and requires torq bits size 15, flat head, and a lot of hand power.
