My dog name is scoobee, golden labarador,n is 50 days old,he became thin after vaccination ,got fever.. n when I try to feed him Dog chow he simply deny to intake... kindly suggest me... how to attract him in eating of Dog chow as it contains all the minerals and suppliments to good growing pup...

I usually give him... Milk with bread...

I have multi-vitamin tonic also... kindly suggest me some diet so that he become healthy... and preparation ,able to eat dog chow...

It sounds like your dog likes milk and bread more than dog chow. If you are afraid of weight loss, try mixing a little milk with the dog chow to wean the puppy slowly off the milk.

Do not give him cows' milk. It contains lactose that dogs can't digest. What does the vet say? As a rule if you cut out stuff like the bread and milk, they will start eating the dog chow in a day or 2. He may also need another day or 2 to recover from the fever. You are right that he needs the dog chow for a complete and balanced diet. Even with the current problems and recalls, the commercial dog chows are still the best diet the averaged dog owner can provide.

Give him dg meat (but if dog chow is dog meat, then mix in some biscuits) Dogs shouldn't just eat the same normal things every day. Give the food a littlw bit of ZING ZANG ZOOOOOOOOONGG! (aka- mix biscuits with meat)
