    this is a algerbra 1b
    I'm in "solving equations by using square roots " here's the directions find the vertex , axis of symmentry, and the zeros of each function . Then sketch the graph of each.

    this is the problem y=(x-4)^2 -3... I already know the vertex its (4,-3) and the axis of symmentry is x=4 but I don't know the zeros of each function...

    please help fast I don't have much time please

    Finding the zeroes means findig where the function crosses the x-axis, which is the same as solving for y = 0.

    y = (x-4)^2 -3 = 0

    Solve for x:

    (x-4)^2 = 3
    x-4 = _+/- sqrt(3)
    x = 4 +/- sqrt(3)
