I went to this Psychic across the street from my house and she told me I was cursed by someone. I am only 18 so I know people that would do stuff like that. But she said if I gave her $190 for these black candles then she could take it away and tell me who did it... I said no and ever since I have had the worst of luck... should I believe her and give her the money or could she have put that curse on me... I don't know what to do... has anyone heard of stuff like black candles doing stuff like that or does she sound fake??

Quite honestly, she put fear in your mind. Since that fear was created you have had bad luck or negative energy around you. If you did not even visit the phychic those things might have not happen or maybe still would have but you would not even think it was a curse. There was a lady that went to a pshychic and they were told they were going to die. This person refused to believe it and never gave it a thought. She is still alive today. IT IS A SCAM. Right out Scam. You give power to it, when you fear it. Stop giving it power. You should have never went to the psychic in the first place.

I can easily tell you how to get rid of any negative vibes. Go buy whats called a smudge stick, white sage pref. Burn it in every room and visualize the room clearing of any negative vibrations. No ma'am you should not ever believe anyone that asks you for a huge sum of money. There are ways to help without money, its called prayer and healing and its very free!

I think we see things in rythms. Where we align ourselves with what we see, what we hear, what we want to believe. This makes us sensitive to certain things if we are in the right frame of mind.
For example, if you were buying cars and you decide you like a certain model I can bet you that for the next week you will probably notice that type of car everywhere you go despite they've been around for a while.

Because she suggested it, you are probably a lot more sensitive to seeing stuff around you to back it up. So maybe you are selectively seeing things that will prove-her-right kind of thing. All of a sudden, you see all this bad luck as if it was never happening before.
Unfortunately when we get hooked on a thought, it can bring tunnel vision, you might even go as far as discount all the good luck that's happening and focus on the bad.

Bad luck vs good luck is a hard line to draw.
Good luck is well disguised. Sometimes good luck is the bad luck just not being as bad as it could have been.
For instance..
OK, I had a few road accidents and I thought it was bad luck but I can still walk OK so maybe it was good luck that the bad luck wasn't so bad?

Regardless of luck, always be very wary of people who tell you you have a problem you never had before and then offer you services to solve it with a hefty price tag. When you have no problem to solve, they create a problem to solve.

It's a common way to extort customers. Bad salespeople with useless stuff love people who live in fear. They look for it. And the best targets are young people and elderly.

Oh, and watch out for if you say "I'll get back to you", the common thing scammers will say "but this fee is a mark down price and only good for now!"

They don't want you to compare prices and try to panic you into buying.

I go by the rule: If you didn't ask for it and didn't come out to looking for it, say "no thanks" and keep your money.

You know its funny when you wrote that because I know it so true... today a man called my phone and said they wanted to see if I was intrested in a newspaper, this is how it went...
Seller: Hi I was calling to see if you were intrested in getting our newspaper Can I have your address?
Me: No I'm not intrested
Seller: But mamn this is an exclusive offer and I'm sure you would enjoy it Can I have your address?
Me: no sorry I can't thanks anyway
Seller: mamn we have been working very late and hard and if you would just give me your address...
Me: No I'm sorry I am not intrested
Seller: Can I aske you why you are not intrested?
Me: I don't have the money for that kind of stuff
Seller: Well can offer it to you for free for the first month... if you would just give me your address...
Me: NO I AM NOT INTRESTED THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!

This was amazed on how persistent he was, I think he just caught me at the wrong time because maybe about 4 months ago I would have follen for that but now that I am basically in debt over my head then I have to be really stern with people like that... normally I would feel bad for the person and I wouldn't want to say no because I would think that they just spent all that time talking and trying to get me to buy there product and it would be just rude if I denied them but over time I'm learning. Today was the first time I have ever been so rude and just said no to them, it felt good, at first I felt bad but I'm glad you posted that cause it just reminded me that I have to think of me first cause they only care about one thing and it certainly isn't me.
Thanks for the advice and I think you are right about what you were saying. But what if it is not true, what if she really did curse me... but then again mostly everything revolves around my mind... I don't my mind is uncontrollable... sometimes I don't know where the things I think about come from.

If curses were possible I am convinced you'd not be the only one being cursed (think of it, really! How many TOP-officals would have been cursed before you?). Im sure there would be so many cases of it it would be on the 10 o'clock news! I think you're more afraid and more cautious of bad things happening to you. Let go. You're not cursed! It.s so far fetched!

What if everyone was curesed and the curse was you always do the oppisite of your intension. Everyone would want to tell you they were curesed but wouldn't be able to, or if they were at best just make up some stupid story about how they were curesed or how to get rid of a curse knowing it was fake. Now that's a scary stuff. By the way has anyone herd of the curse of man?! Its in the bible?
