    Disabled parent's rights
I am a disabled parent of a baby that is 1.2 years old. My disability doesn't prevent me from caring for the baby or endanger him; what are my legal rights as his parent? If the state(FL) were to take him from me how do I fight for him back?
Thank you for your help and time!

You are the parent. Unless someone can prove you unfit as a parent there should be no reason to take the child from you.

Where is the other parent, what is the current custody in the court?

Disability does not equal unfitness so what is the problem? Not only that, in some states (California for example) we have case law that says you cannot be disfavored in a custody dispute with your coparent simply because of your disability (in other words, your co-parent cannot take custody from you merely because you are disabled).
