Troy-bilt 18.5 hp no fuel to carb
I have no fuel getting in to the carburator. Fuel all the way up to the carb. There is a black and white wire going up to the bottom of carb, but not in. any one help me?

Have you replaced the filter? If not that will cause it to not receive gas.
If that don't work, inside of your carburator there is a float with a needle valve to let in fuel, if the engine has been sitting for a while it will become stopped up with gum.

    Hi,
The black wire should attach to the governor/throttle control bracket(ground) and the white wire opens the anti-afterfire solenoid on the base of the carb. Used to be you could hear or feel the solenoid working, but lots of newer engines have this no longer true.
The fuel filter comment was good; just a common maintenance item. Try un hooking the fuel line and spinning the engine over, should spew gas in pulses(careful about ignition sources there.) That will tell you about fuel arriving. Then check for voltage to the white wire. If that exists, the solenoid is either gummed or broken. Better hope for the first, since they are not cheap. Could be a bad connection or ignition switch if no voltage. Should receive voltage in the On position, no safety switches in play.
    Peace,
    Clarke
