    Pressure switch stuck open
    Hi, my name is julie and I have a goodman furnace and the red lights blinks 3 times telling me that my pressure switch is stuck open is there anything I can do? Or do I need to buy a new one

    Usually when they are stuck open it means that the pressure switch is defective OR some other component has failed to cause the pressure switch to close. To be sure these items will need to be tested by a professional on Site.

    I took the pressure switch off - disconnected the rubber tubing - and blew the switch out at the nossel. I took a small pipe cleaner and cleaned the nipple end out that the rubber tubing was attached to. Attached everything back and the furnace fired up.
