    Is this normal?
Hey everyone, its me again. In may I posted a question asking about my symptoms, and found out I wasn't pregnant. Now here's the thing: I just found out Im 7weeks pregnant, and this time I wasn't even trying! Before I found out, I was experiencing some of the classic symptoms: lower abdomin pain, late period, sore, swollen breasts, nausea, and excruciating headaches. I thought I was just pre-menstral, but a trip to the doctor confirmed that I was indeed pregnant. Now here's my question, is it normal to experience bleeding this early in the pregnancy? Its not the period type bleeding, just blood on the tissue when I wipe, and its brownish red, and has lasted for about 4 days, on and off. Is this normal? Could something be wrong? Please help!

    Myth
I have read that a lot of women have experienced bleeding during the first trimester. If you have concerns talk to your dr about this. The dr will know more about it than we will. I have to say it's not all that uncommon from what I've read.

Congrats! So glad that you got your wish! I had slight very very light bleeding when I was in my first few months. It turned out for me that it was just that my vaginal area was extra sesitive from the drastic changes in hormones and the such, and it was mainly only after intercourse. BUT I would definitely talk to your doctor about it, if only to put your mind at ease. Best of luck to you! And congrats again

    Chery
My mother always claimed that she had a 'period' during her entire pregnancy. But go and see your doctor for reassurance.

Yes, it is indeed possible to have a "period" during pregnancy, as Chery said.

However, this could also be an indication of a number of other things. You need to make a doctor appointment as soon as possible. This could, and probably is normal, but your doctor does need to put this info in your medical chart in case there are any complications.

Good luck and I hope all is well.
