I have been having severe vaginal bleeding for about 2 months now and a lot of tissue discharge. I am so scared in really not sure what to think or do. I feel like my boyfriend is turnned off by this because our sex life is gone,due to this. I think I am having a miscarriage but I'm not to sure. You need to go to the doctor. I probably would have gone after 2 weeks of bleeding. To lose that much blood can't be good. I don't mean to scare you, (this is just for an example) but my mom was bleeding for a long time and then she found out it wasn't her period at all but internal bleeding caused by a tumor. Probably not your case at all but you need to get checked out!

Yes. You do need to get it checked out.
Bleeding from a miscarraige does not happen that long.

Prolonged bleeding should always be checked out... numerous causes, some benign (not a medical concern but the bleeding is still an annoyance), to some more serious... as in possibly due to precancerous or cancerous cells. Depending on the cause, there can be several treatments. As an extreme example: I just got home from hospital this past week after having a hysterectomy due to bleeding for the past year.
