    Cost to finish drywall.
I hired an unlicensed contractor to remodel my kitchen back in mid-October. Here we are now, nearing Christmas, and I no longer have a contractor or a kitchen.
At this point, the drywall has been hung (poorly) and taped with one coat of mud (appears to be decently done- he hired someone else to do that part because his own workers couldn't).
I wanted to get a rough idea of how much it would cost to hire someone to finish finishing the drywall from the point it's at now- (one coat of mud already on)-
I have 9' ceilings, and approx 850 sq ft of drywall that needs to be finished (including walls and ceiling)- the ceiling accounts for approx 215sq ft-
I live in upstate NY if that makes a significant difference.
I know it's not possible to give an exact amt, but just a ballpark figure would be great.
    Thanks!
