    Maytag clothes dryer
What kind of grease or oil can be used on the wheels that turn the clothes dryer drum?

Actually they are not supposed to be lubricated since the lubricant will attract lint and make the condition worse. The dryer wheels use a soft oil impegnated brass that is supposed to be lubed for life. Usually a noise means it is time to replace the wheels and support pins.

Some people have cheated with various kinds of spray oil to temporary fix the situation so if that is what you want to do just go to the hardware for some 3 in one oil and have a go at it. Spray lube is the easiest to use and use just a bit not a lot.
