Does Flex connector needs sediment trap?
I installed my new water heater and used the yellow coated flex tubing/pipe to connect the gas line. Do I need to worry about not having a sediment trap? My user manual says it should have one, which would mean going back to the black pipe etc. What should I do?

    Hi Deb,

Most Natural gas system has the moisture traps installed at the meter and no need for any other trap to be installed at the appliances; it depends on the code in your area, attach link is just an FYI, Good luck.
