How do I know his true feelings
So a worker starts flirting with me and we hit it off as soon as possible, we spoke one time and now, he comes to my area and spoke to me hours on hand, but when a old worker came back the following week he now talks to her and only greets me.

Feelings are irrelevant right now, even yours. You're still at the stage where you're examining behaviors and deeming them acceptable or not.

It doesn't matter how he feels. Is his behavior right now something you care to put up with?

Also, you can always set the emotional stuff aside and just talk to HIM like a friend, you know? Just pursue the friendship. If that doesn't develop, clearly nothing deeper ever would have, either, and you've saved yourself from a ton of grief.

Feelings are great to "spark" interest, but unless you stay in charge of your head, your feelings will cause you pointless misery. (wink)

This past week, our pastor (talking about something else entirely) painted a wonderful picture of how to make decisions:

    Facts >>> Faith >>> Feelings

Start with what you KNOW to be true, the truths, the actual things, facts...

Act on those with the things you've decided are important overall in running your life... the faith you have in how things should be done and what is important...

And in the end, your feelings will help put it together in a useful way.

If you move "feelings" any further up in the process, you just stumble over yourself. I know I do.

Good luck, sweetie. Remember, he has to be a good and reliable friend before anything else.

How about you make some effort and go talk to him? He might not think your that interested and has moved on to the next most interesting thing to him at work.

Thanks chrissymarie, I have lately been playing hard to get with my coworker, maybe I should spark a conversation and less conservative:>

To answer your question, you can never know his true feelings. But, if you show some interest in him and he withdraws, you'll have some indication your feelings for him are not reciprocated. Act boldly and the Gods will come to your aid. Stop worrying about his true feelings. Act on yours. You'll find out his soon enough.
