I have a two year old male German Shepherd, He was rescued from the Humane Sosiety. Some of his behavior makes me think he was abused. Every night before I go to bed I let him out to use the bathroom and make sure he does, But every morning I wake up and he has urinated on the floor. How do I break him of this?

Maybe he can't wait that long to go outside. Do you let him out during the night?

You can't "break" him from something he can't control.

I have a GSD and she needs to go out during the night - always has and I've had her since she was a puppy.
