Variable speed on York Air Handler
I have a york air handler (no heat pump) and I have the motor on low (just have to move a wire to change from L,M,H) I was wondering if changing the motor speed to Med or High might help move the air better and make up for better efficiency and help not to be so cold in here at night. I just wonder if maybe it just isn't moving the heat around enough cause it's not blowing enough.

Moving more air at higher speed will not heat your house better and actually might make it feel colder since the air is moving faster across your skin. Units are designed to move a certain amount in both the heat and cool modes of operation. If you feel cold then turn up the thermostat a bit more. You have to ad heat not more moving air to fix the problem.
