This was like almost a year ago but my period lasted for almost a whole month and it was very heavy I had been off birth control for several months and me and my husband were trying to get pregnant. I missed for roughly 2 months (no bleeding whatsoever) and then had a period that lasted for almost a month with very heavy bleeding and horrible cramping.

The reason that I'm asking is that I'm pregnant now (28 weeks) and my doctor has asked me if I ever had a miscarriage before. The doc has said that this is a really healthy normal pregnancy but he would need to know if I had had a miscarriage before...

Does it sound like it or something else?

Oh by the way I was having symptoms of pregnancy at the time. Cravings, breast tenderness, nausousness, and several others. If anyone can help I would be very thankful!! Thanks!

You might have had a miscarriage. I once had my period for 19 days. On the 19th day the pain became so bad that I had to go to the emergency room. They told me that my blood had tested positive for pregnancy and I had miscarried.
