    Error Message appear after starting the game.
    Hi to all, I purchased PC Game name "CRASHDAY" by ATARI. After I installed on my system when I start to load the game the error message appear Title " DirectX9 - Graphics System Layer 1.00" and the message is "Unable to initiate directx9 device, There's a problem with your system configuration.

    here is the details of my system:

    O/S-Microsoft XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600)
    System manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co. LTD.
    System Model:945GCM-S2N
    Processor: intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 CPU 3.00 GHz (2CPU)
    memory: 1016MB RAM
    DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0 oc(4.09.0000.0904)

    Here is the Game System Requirement

    O/S: Windows 2000/XP
    Processor: Pentium 4 1.5 GHz or AMD Athon 1.5 GHz
    Memory:512MB
    Hard Disk Space:1.5GB Free
    CD-ROM Drive: 4x speed or faster
    Video: 64MB Hardware T&L-compatible video card
    Sound: DirectX 9.0c copatible sound card
    DirectX: DirectX version 9.0c or higher

    I do hope someone can guide me on this matter.

    Suggested general troubleshooting procedure for games:
    • Install latest game patches from game vendor's website. (Re-try game)
    • Install latest DirectX version. (Re-try game)
    • Install latest video card and audio card drivers from the device manufacturer's website. (Re-try game)
    • Run DXDIAG tool from command prompt and look for reported problems.
    • Contact the game's technical support or search the game vendor's support forums for identical or similar issues with known resolutions.

    Given the error, run DXDIAG and see if it complains about something and update your video drivers.

    I would un-install Directx first and then re-install it only, maybe there is a file missing...
