I live in a house which has a septic tank, we have one bathroom, and I know the tank hasn't been pumped since 1995, there was three people living here and now it's just myself and my boyfriend, with his son here every other weekend. What approximately will it cost to have it pumped?

We can't/shouldn't even guess at something like this for you... it is just so region specific!

The first thing you need to know is where the septic access cover is? If you don't know where it is you can expect it will cost more for the septic guys to find it. See if you can find a depression/obvious spot at the tank itself... may need to dig down abit!

Call a few local septic companies and ask them how much to pump the septic... be sure to ask how much extra to locate the cover, if necessary. Estimates should be free of charge!
