    Renew IP address
While un-installing Norton, and installing MacAfee, something happened to my network settings. Spy-bot was asking questions about to allow or deny different things, so I might have clicked on the wrong thing.
Anyway, now my computer won't connect to the internet, and I get a Low or no connectivity issue.
Checked with comcast, and they say modem is good. Checked with dlink on router, and they say router is good.
I need to reset my connections, but not sure what to do.
I have 2 other computers hooked up to this router, and they are working OK.
Just mine and one wireless won't connect.
    Thanks...

Try removing the LAN adapter then reboot and let it reinstall

    Hi,

If it say`s media disconnected then it`s problem with the nic card it is not ablwe to hand shak with the device which is passing on the command from the server. Try to unplugg all the cables also try to rest your modem or the device that`s sending out the signal.

I get that for no apparent reason whenever Windoze XP feels like it. Reboot. Goes away.
