    Deporting Husband
My husband was granted his settlement visa in Sept 08, however our marriage has now broken down after only 3 months. He is as we speak being arrested for assaulting me today. How can I get him out of England and back to Turkey via the most quick route and remove my sponsorship from his settlement visa. We only married in August 2008.

    Many thanks for your help.

You can't deport him, it's the immigration office's issue. Here's what you should do:
    • file a police report for assaulting you and let the authority handle the case.
    • Do not drop the charge.. he will be able to get out on bail soon.
    • Do not bail him out.
    • Go to the court and file a request for restraining order so even if he could get out on bail, he cannot come back to you. If he violates the restraining order, he will be arrested again.

Deportation will not be immediate, but if you do all I mentioned above, finally immigration will send him back. Take care and be cautious about safety of yourself and your children. Get restraining order first... Blessings.
