    Old floor furance pilot/valve opperations
    ]Iam helping my nabor light her old floor furance.I using a long wire with a wood match I got the pilot lit.when I turned the valve there was a small blast inside the furance no damaage. So I don't want this to happen again.this furance is about 18" deep has a glass for the pilot and two valves on the side going down to the bottom. Valves have no knobs so Iam using pliars .what direction do I turn them for reg. operation.her pilot was lit by gas co. they tell her 3 days to come out.it was lit before and pilot went out.I can do this with proper inst. Thks for helping

    Sorry no way to tell. There are 1,267 floor furnaces made over the years and many are different. Usually there are instructions on the unit if not call for ON Site professional help before you blow yourself up.
