When I turned on ceiling fan it popped and now does not work.
I have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan with no remote and I can not get it to work. The fan is wired direct and only turns off with the pull chain but the lights are controlled by the switch on the wall. When the switch was turned on there was a pop like a bulb shot but none of the bulbs were burning. I thought that all 3 of the bulbs shot but then the fan started slowing down and finally quit. I have checked the breaker box and flipped the breaker off and back on, replaced all bulbs, replaced the wall switch, took the lighting canopy off and tested all wiring with no luck. I can not get fan or lights to respond.
