    Heating system
I recently purchased a previously owned home that has a Goettle HVAC system, approximately 9 yrs. Old. I turned on the heating system and it runs for approximately a minute or so and then cuts out, this occurs over and over. Does that mean I need a new system?

Most likely no, you don't need a new system(however, I've never heard of goettle). Going to need some more info as to what is actually happening during the cycle of your furnace. Does the flame start? Does it actually heat the house? I would start by checking the thermostat. Is it a mercury stat?

I'm sorry, I meant it is a Goettl system. It is electric. It is not heating the house because it cuts out too soon. The air-conditioning runs fine however. Thanks you for your response.
